North River Roasters is a social enterprise, meaning we’re about making a difference with our quality product, not just a profit. Some ways that we are making an impact in our community meanwhile being both sustainable and ethical in every way possible are:
- Sourcing coffee beans from farms that provide fair wages to farmers and use sustainable farming methods
- Hiring local formerly homeless and youth, and paying a living wage
- Cultivating community through shared experiences with coffee
- Using sustainable recyclable and compostable materials
- Obtaining a B Corp Certification
