Distribution Week of November 28th

Poughkeepsie Coffee Lovers,

We hope you had a lovely holiday with your family, friends, and loved ones. We heard of a few of you sharing coffee with your families and we are very happy to hear it! We enjoy doing the same and telling them about this great group of CSCR members that we’ve formed here. Thanks so much!

This Week’s Share
This week we’re roasting our Honduran coffee! This coffee is very special to us because it comes from the Manos de Mujer cooperative, which is a cooperative that is run completely by women with the mission to improve the living standards of women that own and operate their own farms. They are a part of a larger organization of women who grow fruits and vegetables, and raise chickens, pigs, and cows that is known as the COMSA organization. This coffee is grown in Marcala, Honduras.

To Avoid Any Confusion
Since we skipped the week of Thanksgiving, the report attached shows shares for the next two weeks! If you don’t have a bag this week, check the next report and rest assured that your beans are on their way! If you have any questions or would like to shift things around please do not hesitate to respond to this email. Thanks!

Reminder and Tips for New Subscribers

Some new subscribers are trickling in and firstly, we wanted to say Welcome!! Secondly, we wanted to put out a reminder and share some tips for storing your coffee:
The bags – We use compostable bags. We hope that all of our subscribers are either composting, recycling, or reusing their coffee bags!
For storage – To maximize freshness of the beans store the coffee in an airtight container at room temperature. We have some ‘Airscape’ airtight containers available if you need one!

Happy Brewing!
