Distribution Week of June 13th

Poughkeepsie Coffee Lovers,

This Week’s Share

This week we will be roasting one of our fan favorites, the Peruvian coffee beans! This coffee is from the El Palto cooperative from the Cajamarca region in Peru. The El Palto cooperative was founded in 2003 by 35 farmers and now consists of 189 members, 40% of which are women. This coffee is fair trade organic and has notes of apple, chocolate, and brown sugar.

Poughkeepsie Open Studios

We’ll be serving coffee at the POK Pop-Up Shop at 317 Main Street during Poughkeepsie Open Studios this Saturday! Come to Main Street and visit galleries featuring local artists, artists studios, and join in some incredible art events throughout the day!

Slight Change at PFP Location

In an effort to be tter meet the needs of the PFP and be  more user-friendly we have decided to pre-bag coffee for the Poughkeepsie Farm Project coffee shares. Our coffee bags are compostable so please be sure to compost them once you have emptied your coffee into an airtight container at home.

Since your bag of coffee will have your name on it, we will contact you if you have not picked up your share within two weeks from the distribution.  We will work with you to get your coffee to you as soon as possible and to keep the bags from piling up at the PFP.

We understand that sometimes things may not work as planned and we want to give you as many options as possible for getting your coffee. If for some reason your share does not get accounted for we would like to then redirect it as a donation to the PFP or another local organization.

If you let us know you will be unable to make your scheduled pick-up 48 hours in advance, we are more than happy to arrange for you to pick-up that share at a later date. Thank you for your patience as we work out the logistics at this new pick-up location, and your feedback and suggestions are always welcome.

Happy Brewing!
