This Week’s Share
This week we will be bringing you the Nicaraguan beans! These beans come from the 25 de Marzo co-op in the Madriz region of Nicaragua that was founded in 2008. This cooperative consists of 49 members who are committed to organic methods of coffee production. This coffee has sweet notes of yellow plum and butterscotch.
If You Miss Your Pickup
We roast coffee just for our CSCR members in small batches every week. If you know you will not be picking up on your scheduled day, please let us know so we don’t roast too much coffee. If you don’t let us know, then your share will be donated. Some of you pickup in pre-packed bags and others bring your own containers.
Vassar Market and Poughkeepsie Farm Project: If you don’t pick up your coffee during your scheduled distribution you should contact Emma the same day and let her know how you would like to get your coffee. If we don’t hear from you then your share will be donated to a Poughkeepsie organization.
Poughkidsie and Mid-Hudson Heritage Center: Bags of coffee that do not get picked up within three weeks of the distribution date will be donated to a Poughkeepsie organization.
Summer Vacation
